If you’re looking to spend some time on Santorini’s beaches then these are our highly recommended Santorini beach bars perfect for couples. Whether you’re enjoying your Santorini Honeymoon together or simply spending quality time as a couple, these are definitely the must visit beach bars in Santorini!
Please note that the Santorini beach bars listed have a constantly changing pricing structure depending on whether its low/mid/high season. Plus all have different prices depending on the location of the sunloungers (front row, 2nd row, cabana style etc). Please refer to individual website for prices.
1. Theros Wave Bar on Vlychada Beach – probably the most unique of Santorini beach bars
As far as beaches go, Vlychada beach is off the main tourist track. Consequently, it has fewer visitors and a relaxed and chilled out vibe even in high season. Theros Wave Bar blends into the dramatic lunar landscape with fantastic views from its bar/restaurant perched above the beach.
Sun-loungers, private cabanas and beach waiter service make this an ideal spot to while away some hours by the Aegean sea. You’ll find a great selection of food and drink available which you can enjoy up in the restaurant/bar or under the shade of your parasol (beach menu is limited).
Why we like it: Low key, mainly couples, music is played softly so it’s peaceful. And the scenery is spectacular!
Good to know: Theros Wave Bar only take reservations for rows 1 and 2, not rows 3 and 4. When rows 1 and 2 are full you will just have to get there early (opens at 10 am) and hope for the best! To reach Theros Wave Bar you have to drive for 1 km on a dirt track (it’s perfectly fine for even the smallest car!). The price for 2 beds and parasol varies according to the season. We’ve seen it from 25 Euros per set to 40 Euros per set. This price is for the beds furthest from the sea. For front rows and second rows you’ll pay more. Towels are 5 Euros per towel.

2. Forty One Beach Bar in Perivolos – some great food options at this Santorini beach bar
Perivolos Beach has a wide range of beach bars on offer, to suit all tastes and budgets. For something a bit special however, 41 provides an intimate beach experience with a tastefully decorated beach area, delightful restaurant and great access to the crystal clear waters (no rocks here thank you!)
Why we like it: Great stretch of beach front, relaxed, intimate vibe and a good choice of food options.
Good to know: It’s on the pricey side, especially if you choose one of the cabanas (250 Euro plus but you do get water, bottle of fizz, fruit platter and sushi plate), and the closer you get to the sea, the more expensive the sunloungers (although to be fair they’re all close enough to the water’s edge).
Food wise, there’s a great selection on offer, including a sushi bar.
3. Naboo Beach Bar on Mesa Pigadia Beach – swim through the cave!
Located in Mesa Pigadia on the Akrotiri peninsular, Naboo Beach Bar (formerly known as Akron) boasts a fantastic location on the island and is close to the white beach. It definately deserves to be in the best Santorini beach bar list.
There is an on site restaurant serving up a wide choice of food, drink and cocktails. There’s also a safe where you can keep your belongings when swimming. You can also swim through the cave located at the beach to get to the White beach.
Why we like it: Good food, great cocktails and music. Simple, uncomplicated service. Crystal clear waters.
