This place is magical! Exactly as pictured. Pyrgos is a quiet village with insanely beautiful views of the island that you can see from the private rooftop. The nearby restaurants are unmatched. Andrew was great helping with car accommodations from the ferry, scheduling an in-house massage, local recommendations, and giving me directions. He was very responsive. He met me at the beginning and end of my stay to help carry luggage, and every time I saw him he had a smile on his face and he gave me a cold bottle of water. This was an excellent choice to stay and I would highly recommend it. I will hopefully be back!

Staying with Andrew was a fantastic experience. Not only was the property great, but Andrew acted as personal concierge for us throughout our stay. Helping us with reservations, giving us local recommendations, and helping with car services. He really thought of everything with the space, it’s very well done!

Demeter House is an amazing property in a stunning village. The house is beautifully furnished, well-equipped and very comfortable. We loved the sun terrace and jacuzzi and exploring the village. What makes this property particularly special is the outstanding service, responsiveness, and attention to detail of the hosts, Andrew and Marcel. We would certainly return.

The cave house was amazing for our honeymoon. The hot tub was awesome for the evenings and relaxing. The roof top deck was great for views and relaxing while getting some sun. The bed was super comfy and the double shower was awesome.

Above all Andrew was an amazing host. He helped us with recommendations, setup reservations at restaurants, and coordinated transfers.

All of this made for an easy to plan, fun, and relaxing honeymoon.

WOW! There is no other word to describe the cave house or Andrew's attention to detail and likeable personality. We could have stayed just chatting to him the whole time we were there. I have been using Airbnb for 10 years or so and this is the best experience I have had by far. Pyrgos the town in which the house is in, was also our favourite on the island. It's quiet, interesting, quirky with plenty of stairways to explore and it is close to both the airport & the port. We flew in & took the ferry out. Andrew made both of those experiences seemless, his recommendations were excellent and we found the food fantastic in Pyrgos. As long as I could remember I have wanted to see a white cave house and a blue dommed church and finally I got to stay in a place with just that as my daily view! We will always look back fondly at that experience, thank you!

The beautiful Cave is right in the center of Pyrgos -a perfect location walkable to all Pyrgos has to offer. And Andrew is an impeccable host. Communicative, thoughtful, and helpful, Andrew couldn’t have been more considerate and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this Airbnb.

Demeter Cave House is an idyllic honeymoon destination - immaculate, romantic and private. The terrace view is perfect for sunset and the hot tub is so inviting after a day of exploring. Pyrgos is beautiful and quiet, with excellent restaurants, shops and cafes within walking distance - you don’t feel like a tourist as everyone is so lovely and inviting. Andrew provides you with an app that outlines everything you need to know (order the breakfast - delicious and delivered right to the door!). Andrew arranged for us airport transfer and the sunset catamaran cruise and we are so thankful, it was awesome! It’s the right amount of home and service, leaving you free to enjoy yourself comfortably. We can’t thank Andrew enough for making our holiday so special 🙂

I’ve probably stayed in 100s of air bnbs at this point… and this one blew me away. He was so kind, friendly, and funny. You can tell he put his heart and soul into this spot. From start to finish he made sure we had a ride from the airport to and from. Meet us at the square to show us the air bnb himself. And though out the stay had it cleaned and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. He helps with excursions while staying there as well. He is simply amazing and i will be recommending his place to all my friends and family who visit the island.

We loved our time here and just wished we had stayed longer. Andrew cannot do enough to help you- organising transfers, restaurants and wine tasting. The listing is exactly as pictured if not better! It is in a unique part of Santorini away from the crowds, it is so peaceful with brilliant places to eat and explore! Will be back!

Absolutely breath taking accommodation! The cave is stunning, the hot tub is gorgeous, the courtyard offers breath taking views over Pyrgos! Andrew was beyond helpful, after having to make some last minute changes to my trip, he was beyond supportive & helped me! I cruised around the island on a catamaran, watched the sunset from Francos, and sat underneath the stars from the courtyard! Couldn’t recommend Demeter Cave any higher! Absolutely 10/10 experience & memories that I will treasure forever, thank you

Nos trois jours à Pyrgos ont été exceptionnels dans ce lieu magnifique et paisible. Andrew est un hôte formidable aux petits soins hyper réactif, on peut dire que nous avons été plus que gâté !! Concernant l’habitation il n’a rien d’autre à dire que parfait. Pour un premier voyage à Santorin cela restera un souvenir impérissable !!

What a wonderful place! I only hope we can be back soon. Andrew, our host, is so responsive, friendly and helpful. Gave us great restaurant recommendations, and got us a last minute reservation at Franco’s! It was a great sunset dinner place.
The place itself is absolutely gorgeous. The perfect size for us, the decor was perfect, every attention to detail was really thought out. The cave bathroom with rain shower heads was definitely impressive and beautiful, and very roomy for 2!. Super peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub outside is private, like truly private and clean. One of our favorite spots.
Also, the rooftop is a great hangout area with great views and comfortable sitting. It is absolutely the best and we recommend it wholeheartedly. Lots of restaurants around. Pyrgos is a cute little town in the middle of the island. Perfect location. Cleaning was done every day by Irene. Sweetest lady 🙂

Andrew’s cave house was our favorite stay in santorini! Tucked away into the town with tons of privacy but also surrounded with lots to do. Andrew was probably the best airbnb host we have ever had. Andrew is AMAZING!! This was the best Airbnb we’ve experienced to date. Pygros is a great little village in santorini with some of the best restaurants. Andrew provided wonderful recommendations and even handled the reservations & booking for several of our experiences. He was so helpful!! The cave house is beautiful, private, clean, and cozy. It was the perfect retreat after a day exploring the island. Do not hesitate to book this place!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautiful, clean, and quiet. It is also located in a great area, with many fantastic restaurants just steps away. Demeter Cave House was the best accommodation that we have ever experienced, and this includes not only rental homes, but hotels and resorts too!

The cave house is truly stunning. It’s design is spacious, gorgeous, bright and comfortable! Each detail is so well thought out, including amazing lighting, high ceilings and a wardrobe for storage. The outdoor spaces are spectacular as well. We practiced yoga each morning on the upper terrace overlooking the rooftops, and enjoyed the jacuzzi on the lower terrace each evening.

Andrew was such and incredibly friendly and welcoming host. He provided a comprehensive list of recommendations of activities, beach clubs and restaurants. Everything that we tried from his list was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble for Andrew! Pyrgos is such a lovely village and is located in a great location to explore Santorini. Don’t hesitate - book it! You won’t have any regrets!

Localisation idéale pour être au calme et profiter du Santorin plein de charme loin des touristes. A proximité de petits restaurants et bars très sympa.
Pour finir, nous avons été reçu par Andrew qui a été un hôte génial. A fait preuve d’une grande sympathie, gentillesse et a été très attentionné à notre égard.
